Could this be the ending to The Dark Knight Rises?

So, I've had a guess at the end of te new Batman movie that will come
out next summer.

Here's how it might end...... Batman dies.......But, Catwoman takes
over in his place, and decides to stop being a criminal, and become a
hero like Batman was. Then, the city of Gotham's fate is in her hands,
and a Catwoman trilogy could be made.

How do you think fans would react to that?? Would they hate it that
The Caped Crusader would die, or would they think that Catwoman is
doing an honorable, self-sacrificing thing by pledging to carry out
Batman's work???
